Chicago

Chicago is one of my favorite cities. Between the river, the lake, the parks, the architecture, and the energy, it's a wonderful place to wander. 

When my husband told me he had an appointment at an consulate there, I was excited for our brief trip. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and departed a mere 24 hours later. Upon arrival, we dropped our things at the hotel and promptly began exploring. The following day, we awoke before sunrise and headed to Cloud Gate where a wedding couple was being photographed. It was one of those mornings when the early wake up call was rewarded. Here are some of my favorite images from our trip.
