Last Friday, my husband and I went to the Minnesota State Fair. Our first stop: farm animals! I've always lived in the city, so meeting these guys was a treat. We visited the Miracle of Birth Center where we met a 2 hour old sheep. One of the kids named him "Sebastian." We saw sows preparing to give birth and tiny piglets with tiny pig tails snacking on their mother's milk. At the horse barn, we met an equestrian named Rachel and her horse, Blue Moon. They were such a sweet pair. While the kids at the fair cooled off at the cooling stations, we opted for ice cream. After all the people watching, the parades, and the food, we ended our day with a relaxing sky ride, drifting high above the crowds. Here are some of my favorite photos from the day.
